James was a guitar teacher at the fames Ottawa Folklore Centre for well over 10 years till it’s closing a few years ago, and also was one of the featured teachers for 10 years at the annual Blues in the Schools program sponsored by Ottawa Blues Festival.
James teaches beginning and intermediate guitar in most styles except classical, but with a special focus on Flamenco guitar.
For those interested, no previous guitar ability is needed to learn flamenco, and those that start with Flamenco can easily learn any other style with that foundation.
